Chronic knee pain is usually a sign of various forms of arthritis. <\/p>\n\n<p>The intra-articular hyaluronic acid injection is for the relief of joint pain caused by joint degeneration. The body naturally produces hyaluronic acid to lubricate joints and keep them functioning smoothly. It also acts as a natural shock absorber, preventing the bones from taking on the full force when stressing the joint.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Joint degeneration is a condition in which the hyaluronic acid is reduced in the affected joint.
