Early orthopedic medicine focused on treating children with the spine, limb, and other bone-related birth abnormalities.<\/p>\n\n

Today, orthopedic physicians continue to treat children along with treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and conditions.<\/p>\n\n

2. There is no requirement for orthopedic doctors to specialize in treating one part of the body.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

4. The most common areas of the body that orthopedic doctors treat are the knees, spine, and shoulders.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

A majority of the time people put off their injuries or pain because they do not want to have surgery. People assume that visiting an orthopedic doctor means they are going to have surgery. <\/p>\n\n
